What is a complete crushing and grinding unit for gypsum powder?

When making gypsum powder in industry, a gypsum grinding mill machine is required. However, in most cases, it also needs a crushing machine beside the grinding machine in a whole complete gypsum grinding plant.

To make fine gypsum powder, such as 0.5 mm to 0.05 mm, it is strict to control the feeding size of gypsum grinding mills. The feeding size varies from 8 mm to 30 mm, which depends on the different grinding mill machines. The more efficient the machine is, the larger the feeding size is. Thus if the gypsum block size is too large, it is necessary to use a crushing machine to crush the gypsum first. The suitable crushers are small jaw crusher or small hammer crusher. The crushing machine and grinding machine form the complete crushing and grinding plant to make powder.

In general, there are three type gypsum grinding mill machines: Raymond mill, vertical grinding mill and micro powder mill. Raymond mill has 0.15-9 tph capacity with the output size from 0.613 mm to 0.044 mm.Vertical grinding mill is optimized at the basic of Raymond mill, and it has larger capacity and finer output size.
